The dates are now in! The 2008 Isle of Wight Festival we be held at Seaclose Park on the 13th, 14th and 15th of June.
Headline acts have now been announced for the Festival
Friday 13th June - Kaiser Chiefs
Saturday 14th June - Sex Pistols
Sunday 15th June - The Police
Coinciding with the release of tickets, lippy Londoner Lily Allen, Kate Nash and Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall were among seven new acts to be announced. Other acts to take to the stage at Seaclose over the weekend are three-piece rock band The Enemy, Mancunian rock band James, Liverpuddlians The Zutons and legendary American act Iggy and The Stooges.
Iggy Pop, who performed at the 2003 event, said:

The Wightlink foot passenger 'FastCat' runs from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier in around 15 minutes. Wightlink car and passenger ferries run from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and take approximately 35 minutes
The dates for the fifth Bestival, again at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight, are Friday 5th until Sunday 7th September 2008.
No acts are announced, but expect an eclectic mix of live music and the best DJs.
As well as the music, Bestival has the world’s biggest fancy dress party, the Bollywood cocktail bar, Laughter Clubs, a Farmers market, Kids area, Morris dancing, magical moments and more, as one of the most colourful events on the festival calendar.
