The dates for Bestival, again at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight are 5th to 8th September 2013.
Bestival have revealed 'HMS Bestival' as their theme and hope all the fans will jump onboard with the idea and salute the island festival.
HMS Bestival skipper Rob da Bank said: “All the nice girls love a sailor and all the boys love a mermaid. Think deckhands, anchors, beach parties, Moby Dick, tattooed ladies, Titanic, shipwrecks, Hawaii, Treasure Island, rum bars in scuzzy ports, message in a bottle, the crow’s nest, sea legends, monster breakers and tall tales of life on the ocean waves. The Wightlink foot passenger 'FastCat' runs from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier in around 15 minutes. Wightlink car and passenger ferries run from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and take approximately 40 minutes.

Julia Margaret Cameron, the famous Victorian portrait photographer, lived at Dimbola Lodge from 1860 until 1875, where she photographed the cream of Victorian Society. The Julia Margaret Cameron Trust was set up with the aim of ensuring the preservation of Dimbola Lodge, and to provide historical information on Julia Margaret Cameron's life and works. We also ensure an extensive list of activities, events and exhibitions take place in and around Dimbola Lodge Museum to support the Trust's objectives and to support photographers from all over the world.
